Cancelled – We will kayak from the boat launch at lot #1 of the Parker River NWR in search of Saltmarsh and Seaside Sparrows and Clapper Rail. We will then continue to bird the refuge if there is further interest.

CANCELLED – We will search for warblers, vireos, flycatchers, thrushes, tanagers and other colorful travelers at this urban migrant trap located in Boston’s Mission Hill neighborhood. Expeted species include Bay-breasted, Cape May and Chestnut-sided warblers plus rarities seen here such as Gray-cheeked Thrush.
CANCELLED – This two-mile walk in the sand is aimed at nesting Piping Plovers, Least Terns, and Bank Swallows as well as evening singers such as Whip-poor-wills. Be prepared for mosquitoes at sunset. Co-sponsored by the Essex County Ornithological Club.

While walking we will search for Saltmarsh sparrow, shorebirds, terns and breeding marsh birds.
