The importance of Inland Wetlands for Birds and Other Wildlife

Wetlands provide critical habitat for biodiversity, but also provide ecological services for human communities such as water purification and storm water storage. After surveying the different types of wetlands found in Connecticut and the unique wildlife they support, Jim will discuss various ways we affect their conservation. Jim Arrigoni is a conservation biologist with the Connecticut Audubon Society. He has over two decades of experience in the research and management of biodiversity.
